To promote the tour of ‘Oroonoko’, the theatre play by Orkater and UMA collective, we’ve created strong and appealing PR visuals.
The actresses and musician lounge around a gloomy square of water - tensely awaiting their faith. The costumes are designed to reference the 17th dramatic sleeves, lace collars and textured corsets. The actresses wear pants instead of skirts to emphasize the modern and rebellious character of the play.
I had the honour to design costumes and lead the art direction of the promotional material.
